The reason that guy says the 14k/10k is stiff is because he has a regular IS. 14k/10k is the recommended for the IS-F, recommended for 2IS is 10k/8k.

10k/8k is too soft for an IS-F, they are suppose to be for an ISX50. The IS-F weighs more, so if you get the 10k/8k your screwed haha.

Hi Mercury..the direction is from full hard. If you are on 14/10 spring rates set the damper to 9 clicks front and 14 clicks rear from full hard. Those settings provide a nice smooth ride for daily driving. I have mine set to 9 front and 5 rear and it still rides pretty smooth as well. Adjust from there to your liking which is what I did. Also, I did not use the extenders that came with the coils. You can easily pull the lining in the trunk and gain access to the *****. It is not that hard rather than making holes in the lining. I do not track nor race so once I have it the way I like I left it as is.

I'm late to the party! I just got the 16K/12K springs done and with it at 8 and 10 clicks, it felt a little more controlled but stiffer than stock. Right now I got it at 20 and 15 clicks and man, it feels like an ES350! LOL (not quite - but you get the idea). It doesn't jounce/bounce. I'm afraid that if I go 25, 20 clicks from hard, it might start to bounce due to the 16/12K springs.
Now I can DD it nice and smooth (99% of the time) and go hard at the track (less than 1% of the time).
I gotta admit, it really does make the car feel more luxurious!

I think the 16 and 12 K springs actually give me less bodyroll - I'm guessing that it's a little stiffer than stock. It's hard to compare the dampening from stock though. Obviously 20/15 is MUCH softer than stock but I think 8/10 is comparable to stock 08 suspension.
