Default Lug nut opinion needed!

Just got my wheels on/finished a few weeks ago and have been running on some cheapo chrome spline lugs i bought from (local store/dont remember) for < $40. As expected, they are already completely rusted.

I need to order new + better lugs, but can't decide what would look best. As mentioned, right now I am running chrome spline, but am considering either black chrome spline, black chrome hex, better chrome spline, chrome hex, or matte black hex.

Your opinions/votes would be greatly appreciated! This is driving me nuts.

Get some Project Kics. Project Kics have a spinning "seat" so that the lug nut doesn't scratch the seating position of the lug nut as you tighten them.

Those are pretty pricey - are they worth it (quality-wise)?

They dont make any closed-ended lugs unfortunately and I don't want open ended

If i wanted open ended lugs, and was neurotic about the wheels, I would be all over it (but i'm not.. these will have to be refinished)

A couple of ounces isn't going to make a whole lot of difference at this point! (going from 19's to 20's, etc) If I was doing smaller wheels - yeah, definitely!

Thanks for the votes, everyone. Getting super close between #1 and #2. If anyone wants to articulate on why they voted on a particular lug, i'd definitely appreciate it (quality, look, fit, etc). As always, your help and experience are much appreciated.
