Nope. I really like the alcantara. It's more comfortable and supportive. It just feels really good. Compared to the standard leather, you don't slide around as much in a hard corner. My only complaint is the extra maintenance. You have leather and the alcantara to clean and condition. It's sort of a pain in the butt.
