Default HPS Silicone Tube and AFE Wet Filter

Received my HPS Silicone Tube today with my AFE Wet Filter. Installation took no less than 15 minutes as its very simple to do.

My thoughts for these are are fairly simple. I won't feel the difference of 5hp, but the fact that i have less restricted air flow to my engine is better.

Installation is right here at.

HPS has only Blue and black right now, but when i was placing my order they said they have Red coming shortly. So if anyone decides to purchase them in Red, you need to contact them directly.
As you can see below it is the 4-Ply.

AFE Wet Filter with Hps Silicone Tube.

I've used HPS for all of my turbo setups with much success. My couplers have held up very nicely over the years.

Looks good. I think I will order one soon in black as well. I had some HPS couplers on my STi and they held up great.

Yeah. they will have a red one soon if you are looking for red, if not black it is!

Didn't really want to start a whole new thread about this. Got the same setup as you except I opted for the blue color (since my F is USB).

No hard data to back this up, but I will say that the car seems to run smoother at WOT pulls/throttle response seemed to be quicker now with the AFE drop in/HPS tube than with my Injen setup. When I went WOT with the Injen, it would feel kind of sluggish and jerky (hard to describe). I will say I do miss the deeper sound the Injen gave the F, but I'll sacrifice that for a smoother ride.

It's also good to get back that 3,500K+ roar from the stock intake flap opening up that I lost with the Injen

Wifey rode along with me in the car and she said it felt like it wasn't working as hard and felt like it was smoother as well. I wanted to have a witness to see if it was just all in my head or not lol.

Also after doing 10 or so WOT pulls I will say the HPS tube is just warm to the touch, not ***** HOT like the Injen was at all times lol.

it does it's job and looks good. Two thumbs up from me.

My .02 cents.

Nate
