What are you looking to achieve, style, traction? Ever since I swapped mine out and threw some 295s, it hooks so much better its crazy. Stock is probably the lightest wheel there is but if your sacrificing a few pounds for better traction or even a different look, you don't have anything to lose.. I haven't ran into any problems with aftermarket wheels and I've had 2 sets. Although you can probably run up to 285 on the stock rim and will be fine. I think they are 9in wide? The only reason I went with 295 is because I'm spraying and roasted the 275s I had on before. When I didn't spray and had a sticky 275 they were perfect.

well I want to do it for style because the 2011 wheels aren't really the nicest and i just felt bad because they were specifically made for the car but i guess I'm ok now and how much could i sell the stock ones for?

Honestly I am not sure, they are really expensive new and nobody wants to pay those prices. Check around and see what people are paying. I would think someone would give you around a grand for them.

The 2008 and 2009 "blade" style OEM BBS wheels are more popular and generally more well liked than the 2011 wheels, and those are going for under $1200 in the classified section on here. It's funny, because these wheels are almost $4000 for the set ordered from the factory, but you can't even get $1500 in a private sale for a used set.

I would suggest you just keep your stock wheels for a backup set, or to return the car to stock if/when you ever decide to sell it. You'll have an easier time selling the aftermarket wheels, and more buyers will want the stock wheels anyway.

Darbs- I like both of your wheel setups, and I'm sure those new 19s weigh next to nothing. Do you track?
The 19s weight .2lb more in the front than factory wheel and .6 more in the rear on a much wider rim... Im very happy with Strasse Forged work. I think ADV1is putting out some wicked stuff these days as well. I do track which is the biggest reason for changing rims. they dont make much in 20 inch tires for track abuse and i was sick of swapping wheels all the time and having my alignment be off.

Darbs Can I ask you a question? why do you downside your wheels and tires (the tires looks narrower)?Because of performance? Am I right ?
You know my F is the same color like yours and I go with 19x9 (255/35) front ,19x11(295/30) rear but I feel the rear axle is a bit heavy and I want to downside to 275/35 (strech tire)on the rear only. Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks !
Yes I down sized for performance. Clearly the car look badas* on 20s but it turned in like crap and the wheels were so heavy is was hurting braking and acceleration. I had the rears built so i could run anywhere from a 265-295 in the back without rubbing. This does not give me the best look "stance if you will" but it gives me the largest selection of 80 to 200 tread wear options. My 19s are almost half the weight of the 20s and makes the car feel like its on stock rims with the ability to support much wider tires. I run 235/265 Toyo proxy 888 R-comp if I'm tracking the car a lot and if i don't have track plans or work doesn't allow me to be at the track i run yokohama advan noeva AD08 255/295 both are wicked track tires I go threw 2 sets from May to Oct like clock work running 3-5 track days plus my daily grind.

I have also tried the Potenza RE11 and Nitto NT05 both are great tires i like the RE11 & AD08 better than the Nitto but the Nitto is very comparable in performance, its cheaper but it starts with less tread and you replace them to often

That 6th picture is probably the sickest pic I've ever seen, are you running airbags?
No i tired a set of teins in the first year had my F. hated them and took them off. We really slammed it for a couple pics and brought it back up to a useable height. I like the stock suspension. im going to put a set of swift springs in and see how i like the changes plus it should make the 19s look better
