im getting my works vsxx rebuilt to 19x9 front and 19x10 rears and was wondering if i ran 245/40/19 fronts & 275/35/19 rears would work. i am on stock height & was thinking a lil beefier tires would help close the gap space. any thoughts? thanks in advance

^^^^Offsets I'm running RCF wheels with the same dimensions - offsets are +50mm front and +41mm rear. Running 255/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear. Tires are Bridgestone S-04 and the rear fenders are rolled flat. The tires you're suggesting would have an OD that is larger than stock.

^^^^Yes, should be OK. You could go wider front & Rear. And, as I said, your OD will be bigger than stock.

With a 19x9 +36 and 19x10 +36, using Michelin PSS of 275/30/19 would be ideal or could I attempt to fit a larger tire?

If stock fenders I think Any wider would cause more rubbing problems

No fender mods yet. Heard I might need to roll rear fenders but have not had any rubbing at all yet. Haven't had rear passengers yet. Still might roll rear fenders to be safe and might go to 295's in rear for next set of tires. Thank you. I really like how they turned out.

Hi all,
I have a set of Work VS-XXs that are 19x8.5 +40 in the fronts, and 19x10 +48 in the rears. Fronts are R disk, and rears are O disk. I'm looking to get your input/advice on some tire sizes for these on the IS-F. I'm hoping that they won't have any fitment issues or rubbing, both for stock height as well as being lowered, but I'm not sure. I'm also hoping that these will clear the brakes too?

Thanks!

I'd throw a 10 mm spacer on the front and either a 5 or 7 mm on the rear with 245/35/19's front and 275/30/19's rear. You shouldn't need any fender work at all with that combo.

Happy to say that 18x9.5 +40 on 265/35 Michelin PSS (all around) functions perfectly on stock height. No rubbing on full lock and no fender mods required. Haven't gone over large speed bumps with people in the back so can't comment on that.

That's what Im thinking to go smaller size with Volk's. Smother ride on street and faster on the track.

I'm thinking the same thing, plus the square set-up definitely can help with tire rotation and tire flexibility. A bit of fender gap, but probably worth it.
