Default Question

Hello fellow CL members, I am planning to pull the trigger on a 08 IS-F, but before I do that I was wondering if there is any problems and/or thing that bother you guys. I had a IS350 before and was fairly happy with it. Please comment as I need advice. Thanks

The only real complaint is that the rear seat don't fold down. Other than that this car is the cats meow!

Had my 08 for a month tomorrow, no regrets (but the first bill was slightly painful!)

The only complain I got is I cant keep my foot of the gas. The car just sound great. Its a Japanese muscle car. Also the front sit higher than the rear. Thats going to be fixed soon with the KW V3 I have on the way.

I would definitely think twice if I were you. In my experience and what I heard from fellow owners is the IS-F is plagued with all sorts of electrical and mechanical issues that the dealers can't figure out how to fix. The engine never feels up to par and the complicated 8-speed tranny constantly breaks down. I guess Lexus's reputation for the worst reliability in the industry also falls true to this so-called "performance" model as well.

IMO the problem you may come across is trying your best to not get bit by the Mod Bug. Once your bit, you'll be hooked

No regrets bro, just do it!
