Good question, I also want to know if it has any impact on the life of OEM struts.

Camber wear doesn't happen until you get past -2.5 degrees. The numbers I've seen from the posts here show static camber around -2.0 with springs. You'll get more with aftermarket shocks.

The struts on the car won't care about anything you do. We don't have a McPherson strut suspension, so there's zero concern about struts wearing out.

The shocks might not like the new spring rate though...

Hi everyone, Just got my 2010 ISF few months ago.
As many of you, starting to hate the gap in the front.

After reading many threads. My decision is to install Eibachs in the front, keeping the OEMs
in the back.

My only concern is the sensor for the auto-leveling headlights. AFS
I read mixed info on this, I am hoping to get some feedback from YOU whom decided
to go with the same setup.

Did you have to adjust it? If yes, how much for this setup.

Any problems or feedback for this setup ONLY, is greatly appritiated.

Many of you have used Eibachs only for the rears w/ swiffts, teins setup in front.
Does anyone has FRONT Eibachs for sale you don't need, Please PM me.

Thank you all in advance for any advice you might have.

go with swift springs. I dont think you have to worry that much about your AFS sensor. Unless you have coils and drop it to much. Spring only drop the car about 1".

I have read many discussions that say eibach springs make the car feel heavy cornering. Out of every review I have read they all recommend swift over eibach. I have swift springs on my bc coilovers and love them.

Never heard of that, heavy cornering..... interesting.
I wanted to go with Eibachs, 0.7 inch lower vs. 1 inch with Swifts.
Longer shock life plus less chance to scrape my carbon lip.
Does anyone has FRONT Eibachs for sale you don't need, Please PM me.

ANY feedback on the AFR?

I get the difference of cornering feel between Porsche and Challenger. I just don't get how the same car get heavier cornering after a spring installation.

I will be putting the Eibachs in front only to reduce the gap. (No swifts for me)

I read that when installing Swift springs (Drop is: 1 inch Front) you suppose to cut the bump stops 0.5 inch.

When installing the Front Eibachs (Drop is: 0.7 inch Front) , Am I suppose to trim the bump stops?
If yes, how much. I am thinking 0.25 inch.

Anyone with personal experience?

I had contact with the product manager at Eibach, but he could not confirm whether the springs would fit vehicles manufactured after August 2011 when Lexus made a change of springs and shock absorbers.

Some who have tried?
I can't find where this question was answered with certainty, in this thread or any other on CL.

I have a July build '13, anyone know with certainty if this spring kit fits the late cars? Eibach only lists one kit, but shows to fit '08-'14.

Also, from what I understand only the rear suspension was changed in '12, so the front shocks, springs, control arms, etc. remain unchanged throughout the entire run?

Thanks.

Disregard my statement in the last paragraph, found some info in another thread. So if the front shocks and springs were also changed in '12, really interested in knowing whether or not the Eibach kit fits '12 and newer.

12'+ year models have different suspension setup then the 08-11. Tein make 08-11 only and Swift makes 2 different springs 08'-11' and 12'+ im actually about to send back my Tein springs cause I found the springs i had bought will not fit 08'-14' I doubt that Eibach was the only company that was able to make 1 set of springs to fit all the years.

Frank you are correct, Eibach 8289.140 springs WILL NOT fit '12 and later cars, after I was told by the distributor that they would. Already contacted Eibach and they were still unaware of this three years after the suspension change?? I find that odd.

I guess it will have to be Swift or nothing. Thanks for your input.
