Default gas question.

I'm going to try and word this question eloquently. Last time I posted I wasn't as specific as I should have been. Whenever I fill the F up with gas..it feels faster and more responsive than when it has less than a quarter of a tank of gas left. I believe I've heard that the car should be faster with less gas in the tank due to less weight. It always feels better after I fill up. Am I just thinking it's faster after a fil up or is it really faster? I searched and did not see an old thread on this.

do you mean its quicker off the line? could be more weight near the rear wheels giving you more traction?

In your head, not in the real world. If anything its slower from the added weight but you'll not notice that either. More than likely its your heavy foot when you have a full tank.

my foot is usually the same pre/post fill up.. it guess its just a more visceral feeling that its quicker after I fill up. does anyone else feel the F is more responsive right after a full tank of gas?
