Thanks WReuroR, I have done them myself in the past and don't believe you can achieve the quality the car deserves unless you have all the right equipment. I mean no disrespect for those who may have done their own. I had RACPerformance in Dallas do mine. They did an exceptional job.

Yeah that is what I was leaning towards. When you have textured regular factory calipers the do it yourself kits don't look bad. I was worried of now having a completely smooth finish if I didn't pay for it. Guess I will add it to the to do list down the road. Curious of a ball park price of what they charged you to do it so I have an idea of the cost I am looking at to have a shop do it.

I know, at first I said no way but after I kept thinking about it, I had to say "WTF" and just do it. The finish is as good as the finish on my car. Of course, they needed to remove them, sand everything down, several coats of paint then several coats of clear over the decals. Still a lot but even though I have some experience with painting, I just didn't feel I could have achieved the results I was after.

Also duplicolor makes a high temp engine enamel with ceramic that is extremely easy to use and very strong. I used it on my exhaust tips (flat black) and its holding up very well.
Your best bet is to remove the calipers and tape up the dust seals/ pots.
