I am so close to picking up a set, but my main concern is that I do not know any shops that I can trust to touch my girl. All the local shops here I would never trust to work on my car.

Can anyone in the bay area recommended a shop that knows how and have done the install on the F.
Shop in my town did mine. A long time friend and owns the shop.

Be prepared to pay extra for 02 retrofit, or 1-2 brand new 02' sensors. They rarly come out without stripping.

Silky here, installed at IS-F specialist, JE Import Performance in Baltimore. Have over a year with no problems. Not just professional installation, but professional installation with experience in installing theses headers is the most important factor in minimizing issues. When I had mine installed last year, JE had installed about 15 sets of Sikky headers before mine.

To the op...did u hear Dave's ppe headers with Joe Z? I think there was a red ISF with sikky and srt exhaust...I didn't get a chance to see it in person, I only got to hear Dave's which wasn't that loud and I think its due to the highflow cats he is running...im tempted!!!

Would anyone be interested in a group buy. Talking to joe from JE performance he was talking about putting a group buy up on the forum. I took a ride with carmandive and he is running sikky/borla and it sounded awesome.

Hmmm...I wasn't planning on doing headers for at least another year, but if a group buy goes down I might have to jump on it. My F hasn't even been delivered (being built now) and I'm already buying mods. You people are a horrible influence.

Early advice for installation - walk away from anyone that tells you they have to remove the engine. It's an early justification for giving you an inflated installation quote. I believe I paid $1900 total for the headers + O2 sims + installation.

Yes, the rumors are correct. We are putting together a group buy on the best headers available (in our opinion) SIKKY. We will have the details of how the group buy will work posted up here later today. We will have a couple different combo's you can choose from that will give you some savings.

One of the group buys for the headers will be packaged with installation here at our facility so you can ensure your getting a proper install and saving some money. That is if your within driving distance of Baltimore, MD. At this point, having installed over 40 sets I think we have it down to a science
