Default Toyota service same as Lexus service?

I have always taken my Lexus cars in for service at the Lexus dealership. A friend of mine was telling me that he just uses Toyota for his scheduled services (Closest Lexus is about 45miles away). Has anyone here tried Toyota for their service? What are the pros and cons? The local Toyota dealer would be convenient for oil changes etc..

^^I don't think they will service your car or they will service your car and then tell you that you have to take it to the lexus dealership next time.

Any major work I would take it to a Lexus Dealer...they are specifically trained for this car. There "must" be a F "Champion" Tech at the dealership.
