Sensor 2 position always refers to the O2 sensor located after the catalytic convertor

Do I seriously have to lift up the carpet to reach the electrical plug for sensor2?

.... whats the best way to do that?

doesnt look like the carpet will sit very flush after I pull the hell out of it.

Need tips.

Thanks in advance!

Pulling the carpet is your only choice because that is where the connector is located. It will sit fine when you put it back. Remove the passenger side kick panel and pull from the front/fire wall towards the seat. The left side of the carpet is just tucked up into the dash area so just pull down to get it out. You could even remove the passenger seat if you like to have a lot of room but it's not necessary.

I had to remove the center console to get to my 02 harness plugs( that was my 1st time doing it) may try to just pull carpet back next time...and then tuck it back in when I'm done ( it's gonna be tough to do)
