Default almost totaled the F :(

On Friday 2/24, I was making a U-turn and got t-boned on the left side of my car, between the driver and passenger side. He hit me going around 45+, right now we are 50/50% at fault. I just got an estimate of the car and its around 15k, they're coming to pick it up right now. Don't really feel like typing I'll just post a picture of the car. I'm so glad that I get to hear my Joe-z exhaust again. LOL! Also, everyone in the car walked away with nothing, no cuts or bruises. amazing car.

sorry to hear bout that accident.. just curious, why were you 50/50 at fault? was that an illegal u-turn?

I'm relieved you're doing well. That could have been worse than the pic shows. Cars can be repaired, but to lose a person or persons in any accident cannot. Hope the repair process doesn't take too long for you.

Wow glad both of you are ok. That looks pretty serious... I'm also wondering how it is 50/50 at fault though?

Also it looks like pretty severe frame/unibody damage. I'm no expert but if you could try to get them to total it somehow it might be a better in the long run? I wouldn't feel safe driving a car that was T-boned with that kind of damage no matter how they repaired it.

Happy you're okay and glad to see that the F did a decent job at protecting the occupants. What insurance company do you have?

I was making a u turn that requires you to yield, I pulled into an alley and busted a U. but he was coming down the street 45+ with no lights on, driving a black car. at night. LOLOL. It was hard to see him, so we're both at fault right now. I have state farm, and there is no frame damage, surprising. I just got back from the body shop.

I am so glad to hear that everyone is alright! Its is also nice to know that the F is not just a beast on the road. It is nice to see that the design team managed to build an extremely safe car. Way to go Lexus!!

Ouch lol - but still, glad you are ok. Hopefully he's 51% at fault after your insurance sorts it out though!

Glad everyone was ok...sorry to hear about the car though. Cars and parts can be replaced but people can't.
