It certainly looks mean with everything blackened out! Looks like a fair bit of effort went into it as well!
I know its probably illegal for you, but you need darker tints!
They are pretty dark in person, and i already got 4 window tint tickets. they read 23% on the meter
^ I'd take down those first pics and just leave these last 2. Wow I like it!
Did you think about other colors for the calipers?
yes, thought about every color ever created haha, i almost did neon green or orange, but i decided yellow was prob the best choice, pops nice with the black
This car looks far better in person these pics dont do it justice and his exhaust def is one of the meanest on Long Island
thanks man, agreed

my detail guys do the car every couple or few months, i've had it dont twice so far, had the car for 5 1/2 months so far. I don't know which picture or pictures you are talking about, but yea i see pretty bad swirls on a couple of pics too, the worst is a pic from before i blacked everything out or put brembo decals on the calipers, i think i had it detailed a week after that shot. In any case, it's tough to keep the black cars perfect.

I wish i didn't have to have a front plate, but i do like the tow hook plate, it's different and adds character
How did you black out the chrome window trim? Looks good.
it's a tape that you apply over the chrome trim, i got it off this site http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...tline-kit.html It wasn't too difficult to do, looks pretty good, and can be taken off in case you want to or need to go back to chrome. You peel off the white backing of the tape, tape it on, and then remove a plastic layer on the outside.

I had the drill holes filled in the center, i wanted to be able to have a clean bumper if i wanted to, so i have the tow hook plate, which can be removed......i also considered the pop up one that goes under the front bumper, but didn't want any scraping issues. I like the side location, i think it adds character to the car. can't please everyoneeee

Yellwo looks good but......A burnt orange ..MMMmmmm
What did you use to paint the calipers? Did you just paint over or did you sand down the original blk paint?

How did you do the curves around the windows? Heat up the black tape, or just try to stretch it around the curve?
Yeah. This is what I'm wondering... What is the difference between this stuff and just using some black electrical tape?
Fap - I used the same stuff to black out my window trim and can tell you it is extremely easy to work with. It's very pliable and flexible.... almost like teflon tape. It's definitely easier than electrical tape would be.

So you just stretched it to make the curves? I played around with the stuff a bit, but it kept crinkling for me on the curve..

I just painted over. It was a spray. I used engine enamel paint. They had a caliper paint or an engine enamel paint. I asked the place i went to to spray both on a piece of cardboard to compare the colors. I liked the engine enamel color better. And yes burnt orange would prob look sick also. I had the orange, yellow, and green all in my hand, but went with that wiz khalifa
