Odd thunk noise going over large bumps
Im getting this odd 'thunk!' noise from the rear end when i go over large bumps like speed bumps and such. Took it in to sewell lexus and they told me the steering knuckle need to be replaced an to start from there, which sounded like bs to me. Anyone else have this issue?

I'm kinda figuring a shock issue too... Pretty sure sewell lexus is full of crap. I've had it with them, Took my old 350 in to them after a track day because i was hearing a cyclical noise on the front drivers side wheel for them to diagnose a few months back, they took 45 minutes and brought it back and told me i needed new pads. I was in the process of selling it so i figured I would put it off till later... about a week later im driving down the freeway and hear a BANG!... long story short i had a lug nut or two that was loose and it ended up shearing off one of the studs. Took it back to sewell and they tried to avoid responsibility, said "Oh the technician didnt even remove the wheel.." .... Why not, when I brought it in to diagnose the wheel issue in the first place?!? It took 3 days of arguing with them over the phone to get them to admit it was their fault for not checking the lugnuts and replace the dang stud. FML.
Pretty sure new pads and rotors is their go to upsell answer for everything now. I have absolutely zero trust in them anymore.
Anyways, sorry for the rant got off on a tangent there. Anyone know a good shop in the DFW area?

If it isn't under warranty, and done by my local Lexus dealer, I do the work myself. Changing brakes, struts and that sort of thing is pretty easy if you have basic mechanical knowledge and hand tools.

I got down and looked under there a bit this afternoon, everything looked OK, I didn't see or feel any fluid around the struts or springs, and the sway bar seemed tight with me pushing on it. :/

Found my thunk I think... missing bushing on LR wheel hub making the lower contact the hub.
Dealer is quoting me 1330 to replace, does anyone know if I can get lexus help with the cost of replacing this?

They quoted the whole knuckle because it is the only way to get the bushing replaced. Yours is obviously toast. I would replace it with one from Figs if it were mine, but it will be a solid ball and will definitely increase NVH. Otherwise, you need to find a used knuckle and replace yours unless you have an extended warranty in which case this should be covered.
Just a quick note - your issue with your 350 was your fault, not Sewell's. Anyone doing track days for any length of time knows to check lugs after every session, every time. Unless you want to break your studs. Lexus is not free track day support, and expecting them to support your track habit is completely outside the warranty Lexus provides. Every track rat I know takes a torque wrench to the track and checks lugs after every session.

FWIW, there is an aftermarket rubber bushing:

I personally wouldn't bother, I'd do the solid bushing from Figs, but it would likely be your cheapest solution.
A new knuckle from MyLParts (site sponsor) with CL5 discount is $361. It has all new bushings in it and is what Lexus is planning to replace for the big ticket repair bill. Replacing a knuckle isn't difficult, but it is a PITA, just like replacing the front ball joints. You have to disassemble a bunch of stuff to get the old unit out, transfer the hub, then assemble a bunch of stuff to get it installed. There isn't much a flat rater can do to reduce the time, so the labor is pretty pricey.
