New guy here
Welcome to the Club! The F owners are a great bunch... I suggest you go to car meets, there's nothing more fun than rolling to a meet with fellow F owners. This is a great time to purchase a used F, since leases are ending on 08's and the 2012 ISF will be coming out shortly.
I paid 44 for my 08 but it had brand new tires v12 and a 4yr 100k bumper to bumper warranty it has 45k on it now so for the next 60k no worries!!! Nice ride your gonna love it!!!

Can anyone tell me about the lights under the side mirrors? When are they supposed to come on?
One of my early impressions of the car would be that I wish the sport mode was actually the opposite. Meaning, the car in "normal driving" was more like the sport mode button (snappier throttle, harder shifts et cetera) and the sport button was a fuel economy/gentle cruise button. I seem to be in sport most of the time.
Love the car, could drive all day in it

Welcome & Congrats..!!

The Lighting of the Side View Mirrors only works once the car has been locked.. (After 10 Seconds).
They will light up when you are approaching your F along with the Interior Lighting.. As long as you have the interior lighting set that way.
The Side view mirror lights then turn off once the door is closed and interior lights dim out..
They will NOT turn on with closed UN-Locked doors.
