Default Wheels offsets

I'm in the market for some wheels. Can someone please tell me what the ideal offsets for IS-F? Or what offsets are you running right now?

Thanks

Mechanically ideal or aesthetically ideal? There's a big difference.

If you don't want to shave/roll/mod your fenders, you will have to run these offsets with these tire sizes:

FRONT
WHEEL WIDTH OFFSETS WIDTH OF TIRE
7.0 +16/+65 225
7.5 +22/+65 225/235
8.0 +29/+59 225/235/245
8.5 +35/+52 235/245/255
9.0 +41/+46 245/255/265

REAR
WHEEL WIDTH OFFSETS WIDTH OF TIRE
8.0 +26/+65 225/235/245
8.5 +33/+65 235/245/255
9.0 +39/+65 245/255/265
9.5 +45/+65 255/265/275
10.0 +52/+65 265/275/285
10.5 +58/+60 275/285/295

I got this chart from Discount Tires.

Hope this helps.

^The numbers from Discount are a bit conservative. I'm running 9.5 rears with 38mm offset and 275/30 tires with no rubbing or fender rolling at all. And I'm lowered...

And let's not forget the Enkei PF01s in an 18x9.5 +45 with 285s on all four corners with no trimming or shaving required.

mechanically and little of aesthetically....well i definately dont want any rubbing and i wouldn't mind rolling or shaving the fenders.
so i guess 19 x 8.5 +30 and 19 x 10 + 37 wont work?

I'm running the same rim, offsets, and tire size, but I have Hankook V12 tires and I was rubbing in the rear. I had to shave. The type of tire also makes a big difference.

Probably not going to fit without making fashion compromises like running skinny tires.

Best mechanical offset is the same as factory - it will give you the longest wheel bearing life. Anything else will shorten it.

Phew...I was debating getting the Ventus V12s. Good thing I went with my Dunlop Direzza DZ101s instead. I think they run a bit narrower than other tires of the same size.

Holy crap. These are sizes I would run on my is300. Either my measurements are off or this is way conservative. Thanks joez
