This exhaust looks sick!! I just hope it's not in the price range everyone is expecting it to be in.

Quote: I have to wonder why they decided on an H pipe and as FIGS pointed out it seems odd to have the extra tubing. Either way I think it's nice that the system saves 50% of the weight and has the option to utilize the factory tips or not.
I wonder why they decided to change to oval mufflers and also slant them on their improved design...

Looking forward to the price release on this one too...

Quote: Looks awesome, but why make it out of unobtainium?

I bet it will be 5-6 grand
Who cares? Lets just kill a few blue forest people, cut down their big ol' tree and we'll make these things for like $50 + shipping!

Huh?

I don't get the link between making something out of something that is very expensive (thus unobtainable for average folks) versus "Lets just kill a few blue forest people, cut down their big ol' tree and we'll make these things for like $50 + shipping!"

maybe too much Avatar watching. I guess we are killing the company even before they released the price. I am waiting for the price too.

Based on the fact the GT-R exhaust with standard piping size is MSRP of about 4200 and has a bit less piping my guess is it will be around 4800-5000.

Maybe this is why. I don't think he has even watched Avatar. lol

Many critics and moviegoers alike have laughed at Avatar‘s element of value — Unobtanium. For those of you who don’t know, Unobtanium is not a real element, but is a real word used in the world of science. Derived from unobtainable + -ium, Wikipedia says the word is used to refer to “any extremely rare, costly, or physically impossible material needed to fulfill a given design for a given application.” And while it isn’t explained in the film itself, Cameron’s original scriptment explains that the element was given the faux scientific joke term, and it stuck.

Anyways back to topic

This is going to sound stupid, but for long as I have been on here, I cannot for the life of me figure out what "FTW" means! Little help?

Yup, I haven't.

I was like avatar? What does this have to with people's avatars?

Maybe I'll watch it on netflix.

BTW anyone here from the SF bay area? Was at Infineon for the 458 Challenge and it was awesome to see F40s, 599 GTOs, F430s, 458s, California, Enzo FXX, and 599 FXX! The sound and sight of all those cars on the track was truly intoxicating!

Best 20 bucks I have spent in a while.
