Has anyone replaced the subwoofer from the ML package? If so what sub fit? Mine blew last summer and I should be getting my car back soon (from sikky) and I would like to replace it with something else. Thanks for the help.

GQ thanks. I'll give it a try. Im sikky's tester. I get all their parts first. I'm the one who was the guinea pig for the headers. I'm not allowed to talk about what is going on right now but let me just say everyone will be very happy. They are yet again on the forefront for quality parts that make big gains. Expect many goodies to come this summer and fall.

Lexus Test Driver
If a JL Audio drops-in, I would be all over that.
EDIT:
That driver is actually on clearance right now at JL Audio

from what I have heard that the sound is real bad by just replacing the sub. The whole system needs to be done. ML system is not that focused on bass but overall sound.

I just added an aftermarket JL 10" in the trunk it doesn't take up much room.
Sikky mentioned they had some more stuff up their sleeve when I spoke to them on the phone a few weeks ago.

Yes the factory sub in our cars is an 8", but some of the guys in the GS forums have replaced their ML subs with the JL 10w1v2 subs (which are free air applications) and have had satisfactory results. I'm definitely not out to beat up the block when I'm listening to my music so I could care less about just bass. I want something with good sound quality, which JL is known for, and maybe a tad bit more exciting than the stocker.

Thanks everyone for the info....I'm looking for a drop in. I use to have three 12's when I was younger. Not looking to bump the block anymore. I'd just like a little better sounding bass. I believe I'm going to go with the 8". I'll let everyone know how it goes in a few weeks.
