I'm about to hit 50K miles this week in less than 3 years...
So I decided it was a good time to buy the 7 year / 125K mile warranty from Longo Lexus.
Platinum VSA via Penske Automotive.
I basically just bought it for the big ticket items... I know the Factory Powertrain warranty is up @ 6yr / 70K miles...
I will indeed be hitting the mileage caps before the years.
Hopefully, I never have to use it!!!

Extended warranty hookups?
My warranty is up in about a week. I found the thread talking about extended warranties so I contacted this guy:

Since my factory warranty is up in about a week, I just purchased a Lexus Platinum warranty from Jerry at Midwest Toyota. He was very easy to work with and he took the time to answer all of my stupid questions. All of the recommendations for Jerry were spot on.... extremely quick communication and great prices.

I went for an oil change they noticed the water pump had a small leak and fixed it. They also noticed the battery was not good and changed it without issue all in less than 24 hours. Dealers are staffed with humans and as much as we'd like them to be all the same.........they aren't. If your dealer sucks find another one. .
