Default What do people think of carbon fiber wrapped wheels

Hello everyone, I bought my Is-F like 5 months ago, drove it till snow fall and now its getting a few things... Among the new additions is a carbon fiber lip kit and roof spoiler and I was wondering what people would think of putting carbon fiber wrapped wheels on the car too. I was thinking of a 3 piece spyder style wheel with a CF wrapped center. 2in lip in the front and 4in rear in chrome, I think Im going to stay with stock rim size if I can get them with the big lip in the back. Looking for opinions.

But in a spyder

Its kind of fake to me, it looks good but I think a solid black wheel or gunmetal would be a good idea.

I think a silver or white car would be the best color to pull off these wheels. And since you got a MM I think you should do it!

It looks good in the pic, but I am not a fan of carbon wrap at all. I think it is fake and pointless.

anything you can think of they can pretty much do. i ordered a set of spyders in gloss black with the blue F color accent and the bolts that color.

I'd say if you're going to have carbon fiber accents and want it all to flow I'd look at Strasse Forged carbon fiber wheels. There are pics of a lot of their cars with their wheels on their Facebook page. Look up Strasse Forged. Good quality wheels in 3 piece!

I think those wheels look great, and along with a few other CF items splitter, JoeZ's exhaust tips it may all work together well. Go with what works for you.

i agree with hblexus07. having the CF wrap match with the exhaust tips, the roof spoiler that you have, and maybe the door pillars might tie it all nicely. not too much, but enough of a CF presence throughout the car.

I dont have CF exhaust tips, I will have the Euroteck front lip. Their rear diffuser is shipping this week, downforce sides skirts shipped yesterday and the roof spoiler is sitting at my apartment. Ive been thinking about doing a black or gunmetal chrome lip rather than the traditional to match the carbon better? Any thoughts?

Contact JoeZ or I believe Carson Toyota for the CF exhaust tips. They look great and easily snap over the OEM tips.

I think your car will look great when you finish, be sure to post some pics.
