I had this random guy come up to me selling what he claims to be a JoeZ intake for the ISF. We exchanged numbers after I told him I might be interested and so he sent me these pictures by text and claims it came off his F before it was revoked by the dealer due to a bad credit app. He's also throwing in the AFe dry filter with it. Never actually seen one up close and would like to know if based on the pictures this is:

a)authentic
b)has everything necessary to install
c)is the correct fitment for the F

there seems to be one of those rings missing at the end of the tube. other than that, it appears that everything else is there. blue looks really great to give the engine bay some color. hope it works out for you!

 

if you're so cal i would probably sway away from blue intake just because if you get pulled over for mods, it pretty much stands out. just my 2 cents.

i believe joe also makes the intake polished or black

 

Looks just like Mine I installed on Monday so Id say yes! If the price is right go pick it up and take a screw driver and 5 min later you have it on!

 

Yup thats it, and the AFE filter looks correct too.

 

The tube looks correct. The AFE filter is correct (Mine is for sale and it's sitting in front on me).

 

How would they see a blue intake under the hood of your car? You can get a ticket for having an aftermarket intake?

 

^^^ Sometimes CA police pull you over if your car is too loud, and they will ask you to pop your hood. That blue will stand out. That's all he means I think.

 

I actually bought this intake from Jeff (seller) last night. You may want to circle around and buy Shadow's.

 

I don't have a Joe Z intake tube for sale, but I do have a AFE filter if OP looking for one. I'm around the San Gabriel area.

 

Yeah, I took too long to respond to Jeff. I'm in no rush anyway.

 

I have seen these pop up a few times. I will let you know if it was worth the investment.
