Arrow Wonderful Find.. Thank You!!!!

Nice changes for the most part..... !!!

It will be interesting to see if anything fruitful will come from these Concept Builds.

They make it sound like there are 2 Orange IS-F's.. The CCS and now this CCS-R..

But I doubt it.. Looks to be the same Orange LHD IS-F.. (with lots of changes)

1) Also, Looks like they ditched the CCM Big Brake Kit from the Orange IS-F..

2) Installed the 2011 Headlights on it..

3) Then moved the wheels from the Orange IS-F (last years) to the Blue IS-F.

4) Which then allows for new wheels & tires proper for road racing..

Just my 2 cents...

It is NOT a GD Honda Civic!!!!

Get that crap off of there. Next we are going to hear they replaced the muscled-up, deep sound of the 2nd intake and replaced it with a ricey, windy sound. Geez.....

The blue one would be almost perfect without that rear wing.

You've obviously never experienced the infamous Lexus understeer...

Aero isn't rice if it works. This is functional stuff, not appearance crap. The only non-functional piece is the non-adjustable wing in the back. Everything else helps the car go faster.

to all the complainers about the wings, unless you don't want any downforce, the wings are a necessity. These cars aren't 'hooked up' these are club racers. I can see Toyota/Lexus is using their carbon fiber tech wisely. Look at the F branding in the carbon fiber on the rear wing. That's some trick stuff there.

I don't see how you can NOT like this:

It's ok for the M3 to have a wing, but it looks 'ricer' on the IS-F? Please!

I want to say the orange IS F has been seen as the pace car for the LFA at Fuji........

Last years orange IS F and some interior shots showing more CF and orange leather

I have to say I think both of you are missing the point of the "F" Lets face it fellas this car was NEVER meant to be taken to the track as many of us have. it is a "GT" car. It will sprint the freeways, stop on a dime, and turn "reasonably" well. But if ya want a track car... then buy one, otherwise accept it for what it is, a car that does "most" things well. We always had a saying about the German Shepperd bread as a police dog, it does "most" things well, but NOTHING great, meaning it is good all around, just like our cars, but they are just NOT race cars. Most cars that are amazing machines on the track are miserable to drive on the street.

For being 3800lbs. and having 'only' 416hp, it (2011 model) just did C&D's lightning lap 8 seconds faster than before. They did take it racing, actually, at the Nurburgring, and was very competitive. The Maker of Gran Turismo even piloted it for the team. Also they are talking of taking the IS-F racing in an Italian touring car chapionship http://www.touringcartimes.com/article.php?id=5662. So for your information, the IS-F has been racing and will continue to. Not all F drivers share the same opinions that the wing is tacky. Those wheels are excellent and give it the touring car look as well.

I wonder what the orange one weighs in at with the CF goodies and the racing seats. I would kill to shave 300-400 lbs from my ISF. A 3300lb car with 416bhp

I love these cars! Love to see lexus trying to get 'edgy'... hope this trickles down in some forms. Be nice to have 'real f-sport' items to purchase... instead of stuff intended for the IS-250/350 series cars...

Dave

I'm sure it's functional, as in added downforce. It's a Toyota racer. Not a fast and furious SEMA car.

Very interesting. Functional maybe, but not very practical. Love the orange one's interior.
