The cover looks 100% very professional job!

My only advice is to remove the other pieces of plastic trim on the 2 sides - IMO all those plastic covers cheapen the engine bay. It's good to see some mechanicals under the hood after all it is an engine bay (look at what Audi has done with their S-line of motors)

If you keep those side plastic pieces you should have painted those too or now you have mis-matching pieces. Just my 2 cents, great job regardless.

Thanks s4play interesting idea will give it shot and see what it looks like with plastic side panels removed, as far painting the other parts I think it would be way to much color. It was also a royal pain in *** lol I thought this was going to be an easy job, turned into a very labor intensive project first sanding then applying several thin coats of body filler then sanding 90% of it off then spraying high build primer on cover, then wet sanding, fixing any areas that did not cover properly then finally apply paint which was easiest part then wet sand and compound by hand. It took about 5 day to complete working each day for few hours a day I made couple of mistakes along way but I'm happy with it for now.

I'm tempted to get the billet "L" one. I wish it had the F logo though.

Do a ebay search using "Lexus oil cap" and "is oil cap". Sort using lowest price and shipping. There's caps from $10 up to $100. Plenty of billet types. You might find a "F" later or you can ask the seller of the L cap if they have one.

According to the ebay seller, "I can put ANY logo or graphic on your Oil Cap for additional $25".
