In Canada, the base F comes with the "new" 5 spoke web design rim. The series 2 comes with the "original" 10 spoke rim. I thought this was the case in the US as well...

FYI I have never seen the 5 spoke rim in person. Every F I've seen in Canada are series 2.

Looks GREAT Good luck But, I just don't (can't) like the new silver inserts in the steering wheel. Moving the sport button was a great idea, I always drive with it on, but those silver inserts are a big IMHO.

Your 2011 USB F is so sick! At first I wasn't feeling the cluster except the new digital speed reading, but now they all grew on me, and I love the new headlights and suede seats.

Please let us know if your vehicle has the pull-to-the-right gremlin or she drives straight as an arrow at any speed on any road!!!

Thanks in advance

How has everyone approached breaking in their Fs? I've decided to follow the instructions in the manual - which basically dictate taking it easy on the F until after the 1600 km (1000 mile) initial inspection. Any tips or tricks?

I hear ya Lou. I'm still not to sure what I think of the silver inserts on the steering wheel. At least they feel solid and match the paddles.

Thanks furryjet! Originally, I wasn't too thrilled with the new design. I really liked the 2IS/F cluster - attractive, well balanced, and functional. But the new cluster has completely grown on me - its great! Very clean and simple. The digital readout and visual shift indicator are fantastic!

The new head lights are stunning! However, i do miss the AFS from the GS. Everyone that has seen the car comments how much they love her eyes!

My butt is held firmly in place by the alcantara. A great new feature that I think Lexus should offer in the other interior colour options as well.

Not exactly. The dealership will apply for, and have plates ready for when you take delivery. I had custom plates made specifically for the F. It took approximately 4 weeks to receive the plates.

I told my sales rep that i wanted the Michelin PS2s and not the other OEM Bridgestone tires!

I haven't noticed any pull between 1 - 160 km/h (approximately 100mph). I will study this further and report back!

I'm a firm believer in breaking it like you're gonna drive it long term and I have never blown up or otherwise damaged an engine.

MY FIRST "MOD" hahaha

After seeing my car for the first time, my dad went out and got me an F Sport shift ****! The carbon fiber on the **** DOES NOT match the dark carbon fiber in the 2011 Fs. The **** is darker. However, the leather and stitching are good to go. Maybe it matches the dark carbon fiber engine cover... will take a look tomorrow.

I like the shape and feel, but I'm not too crazy about it because it doesn't match the interior finish, but how can I not put it on!?!?!

Will post some pics when i get the chance!

Again, cheers for all the warm welcomes!
