I think you should save your money because in the next 1 to 2 years, the 3rd Generation IS will come out and you'll be stuck driving an old *** car.

My friend just bought an 07 350 for under $24k with 50k miles from a dealer....Fully loaded IS350 with exhaust and stock lexus lip kit....IS-Fs are still going for $41k & up....So the difference is huge, If she trades you her IS-F for your 350 + 6k

Take the F and run

Counter-offer 8k with the expectation of eventually settling on 10k.

I sold my 06 fully loaded IS350 with 60k miles for 21k about 8 months ago.
I don't think the 07 IS350 worth that much!
The lowest IS F is still going for $41K, there is like 15k to 20k difference between the F and 350.
If you can trade your car plus 10k on top, I think you got an awesome deal already!

Yeah I'm thinking 10k is already a pretty good deal...my buddy was looking at an 2007 IS350 w/ around 55k miles and they were offering it to him for about $22-$23k after negotiations. And like others have said the IS-F is still hovering slightly over $40k for a decent one.

For 10k (if she accepts 10k) more you will be getting a car that is one year newer, more exclusive, sportier, and half you mileage! If someone would have offered an e90 or e92 m3 for my old modded 335i coupe and 10k..I would've done it in a heartbeat! Pretty much the same situation here IMO

12K plus the 350 for the F seems a little much for me. Did you try and counter with another offer of $10.5K or even $11K? Maybe giving it some time, she might lower her asking price. Best of luck.

12k on top of your car sounds like a great deal...the difference in Kelley Bluebook private party value between your two rides is over 16k. I don't think your mods really add up to that much of a difference....maybe a bit since she likes them. You could try to get her a bit below 12k, but to me 12k sounds good.

If you do not think 12K on top of your 350 to get an F is not a good enough deal then you may want to reconsider getting an F in the first place.

Good Luck getting it for 10K or less. That is a lowball that hopefully you can get.
