Installed it at a friends body shop in Kailua, above Kawainui. My friends and I just could not get the sections to fit properly! An hour long(or actually less) procedure took us three hours to complete!! Of course along the way, we did manage to somehow lose a bolt which took away time!
Any pics of the exhaust, uninstalled and installed, on your car? How is it in everyday driving situations and how would you compare it to the OEM exhaust in terms of sound quality and decibels?
Sorry for all the questions. I just now beginning my research on various, aftermarket exhausts for the IS-F. TIA.

I have a full borla system on my F and love it. I do agree that the slip on fittings are dreadful to work with, but it was no surprise with these slip on types. If your exhaust has major fitment issues you should definately send it back and demand for another one and they should pay all the s&h charges, but usually with how Borla's are installed it takes patience to align everything perfectly unlike the simple flange styles like the JoeZ which is quick and easy. I purchased this exhaust purely for the sound because no ones going to look under your car and that's what Borlas intentions are; more R&D and emphasis on making an awesome sounding exhaust and using price friendly fittings offers one a badass sounding exhaust that keeps your wallet happy.
If I had money to burn and wanted everything absolutely perfect then I'd go with something JDM and titanium
that would make me a happier man every single morning haha

In my experience with Borla Systems, I always spray some PB Blaster on the joint sections before assembly. We all know it goes in easier when you lube your pipe.

Thinking of having the system welded together after all the pipes are straightened out and fitted properly just to get rid of the clamps. But I was finally able to make my appointment with a professional installer. We'll see how that goes being that I don't have much confidence in anyone...let alone myself after this install went bad!! I would've rather gone with a full titanium system too K3RRY, like say i-code, but there's no way I could afford something like that! If I could afford it, I probably would'nt be driving an F! And I gotta agree with you MINO, lubing your pipe makes insertion a whole lot easier and pleasureable! LOL! Wish I remembered that! Thanks guys!
good luck with it...
sorry to hear you having so much trouble with yours...
mine was pretty easy once we got it together...but then again, between me and the guy helping me, we prob have installed about a hundred exh systems already...
