^^I'd be load testing the battery to see if it has a shorted cell right after making sure the terminals are tight and the other end of the terminal wires are tight. The only other reasonable possibility would be an alternator voltage regulator problem, but Japanese cars generally don't have alternator issues until they are very high mileage.

That's by design, the mirrors tilt down ONLY if the switch is on the left or right position. I think someone needs to read the instruction manual.

OP, did the dealer get this resolved or at least figure out what's wrong with it?

I'm not advocating short drives by any means, but I have an 8-mile commute per day (i.e., 4 miles in each direction) and am very heavy city driving, and I haven't had any battery problems... yet.

Common things are common. Electrical interruption either from loose connection(battery) or a bad battery(cell) as already mentioned. Disconnect check replace/reconnect battery. Should fix ya up.

What exactly would cause the windows to reset?

Or a bad cell in the battery allowing the system voltage to drop below 8v on start up.

Bad battery, hands down.

If the terminals are clean and tight, replace the battery with a known-good, fully charged one. Re-initialize all the windows and radio and stuff per the owner's manual.

The only exception is if the car has had aftermarket electronics added. A bad install job and who knows.
