Anyone else get a call from the dealer on gas pedal recall?

^^^ My same thoughts! No thank you Lexus, you won't see my car for this recall, and I'll make sure that you don't do it when I take the car for service or warranty. I'd rather replace the car with an M3 than drive with this update. The IS-F is all about performance, this will kill it!

Whoa.
I think we're jumping to conclusions prematurely.
Even if that was the case, you just need to be more precise with you throttle/brake input.
For me the times when I have brake and throttle on at the same time is during trail braking or the transition from braking to power on.
In both scenarios, the throttle input is very light.
I do not have see a situation on the stree or on track where I would need to have both the brake and throttle substantially or fully engaged.

What about power braking? What about nice burnouts? What about waiting at the traffic light for the green to go and leave other cars behind? What about at the drag strip? I guess the only option we'd have after the software update is smashing the gas pedal... not good!
