yes, I believe u do have to take the intake off for toms drop in
its simple
then u just open the clips, pop her in
and done
a real do it yourself

and i seriously doubt that there were ay loses with toms
ive seen it side by side with the stock filter in another thread
and it appears as tho it would allow for a lot better air flow

can anyone confirm losses?
i googled it and have read that some extra dust gets through with the toms filter in the is300

any isf owners have any negative issues?

If the Toms filter is foam like the HKS filters it will definitely flow more air compared to the OEM paper filter and possibly the AFE and K & N but allow more dirt to get in the engine.

Well I got the TOM'S in the mail today, it took me more or less 20 minutes to install.

Awesome blitz! I wasn't about to order ANYTHING from VIP, or pay that crazy price on eBay.

Try prolex uk, btw I removed the charcoal filter for better airflow I saw it on a thread in the forums.
