I doubt F will get that much attention here in Silicon Valley where I have spotted so many fancy cars from Tesla roadster, Audi R8, Lambo (heck yellow lambo is parked in front of the office), Bentley....

I too much prefer the low key look of my F, and it rarely gets much attention except from other ISX owners. I sold my 07 Vette which seemed to attract much more attention, and picked up the F, and even with the JoeZ equipment, unless I get on it,the car just blends in.

I have had very few street races, which I try to avoid, but this car is a great driver. I especially enjoy spirited driving on mountain roads where I think the F truely shines. My F has seen 135, handled it easily and was looking for more, but like others said I was concerned about sharing a room without a view for awhile, so I got off it, and will save that for track days.

^ This. People either completely ignore it, or they totally dig it and stop me to ask questions. Yes, Socal is filled with exotics and nice rides, but that's precisely why the F gets more attention. For every 50 911TTs and 100 Vettes, you probably see 1 F.

As for sedateness or blending in, I suppose it depends on the color of your car. The F is no more sedate than an m3.

It might be where I drive but I don't get much attention when I'm driving. Occasionally I'd get a few looks from drivers of modded imports but that's been it. I had a few comments when I was parked though, couple times just walking away after parking, some guy walking by said "nice car." Also one time I was at my favorite place to take pictures of the F and a guy coming out of a Chrysler 300, slammed with massive chromies, looked at my car up and down and made a positive comment too.

I also think it's partly to do with the SGM color. It keeps it a bit more subdued than say, USB. I think USB accentuates the F's exterior features more and thus would garner more attention.

I get attention from fellow Lexus owners. I reckon this is because they of all people know about the F.

Do the cops bother to look at the F?

Maybe the darker colors like SGM help keep a lower profile.

Exactly! It's all or nothing in the F imo. Sometimes people are drooling over it while at other times, no one looks. I've also noticed that city/location makes a huge difference in how many people look at the F (obvious statement). In Dallas, I hardly get looks because there is so many but here in Austin, I tend to get a lot more as not very many people know what the car is or even who makes it

Agreed, stock options are a good thing. The LFA will turn some heads.

To the OP, if what you say is true you're saying your IS-F gets more attention than a Porsche GT3 RS with the huge wing???? c'mon...u really expect us to believe that?

The IS-F is a low key car, even my heavily modded car with JoeZ exhaust and slammed stance rarely gets a 2nd look. Maybe it's the bay area but I like it that way. If you want attention go buy the new m3 which is a real looker IS-F is sedate.

My daily experiece goes like this, push starter, go to destination, enjoy my Ipod music and shut off the car. No races, no gawking, no head turning.

Unless your car is highly modded but I doubt it....

Hmm fair enough...as in less attention camparison...in GT3 you look out rear view and or side view and see people gauking but unusually here in Houston they dont just look over to stare either bc of fact dont want to show me attention since im younger in particular car adn or enthusiast will give thumbs up..but honestly I drove the GT3 to UT and Uh campus and around town in a GREEN RS, and did not get the everyday annoyances or looks as in the F...I wouldnt make it up......Lambo same same no lie...but when people looked at lambo wouldnt annoyingly rev or try to race fair enough.....

I wish it would be a car to be more low key but i guess fact of matter as far as im used to towards my "home area" seems to be the attitude towards car and when I go through OKLAHOMA with any car people gaulk like no other so guess just depends on area...bc went to Virginia once and people didnt care a bit about cars it seemed and everyone drove hondas lol during snow season so guess it is depenedant..

I'm in this boat too, Just depends on the day. I seem to get attention from car people more than average people. Lots of TC's, other Lexus owners and some bimmer owners. Sunday I raced an EVO MR, later that day a guy in a 550 was asking me about it saying he was considering the F or the M3.

I like the exclusivity factor, I've only seen one F on the road, which is equal to the amount of veyrons I've seen driving around. Granted to massively different cars and prices but its nice to know not every joe has one.

The police seem to like my car...... a lot. Beyond that, everyone is pretty ambivalent. 90% of the girls I know can't tell the difference between my old '06 Infiniti M45, '02LS430, '02GS300, and '08ISF.......
