You're welcome! I'm glad ya'll found it useful!
hahahaf: I've never checked the footwell lights to be certain, but if I were going that route, I would just get underneath and look for two wires leading up to one of the lights, and use a meter to check polarity and then tap into the corresponding wires.

It was spot on!!!!
I won't bore you with my wiring pics..
The only thing I did different was added 1/4" wire loom for that stock feeling..
&
A pair of male & female connectors to the drivers side, in case I ever have to un-plug and remove that sill.

You have to find / tap the wiring for the over head dome light...
Easiest way would be to run wires to the dome light & sunroof harness.
Then tap into the wire that controls the 1st phase of light fading.

I drove around in an IS250 demo that had them and honestly the fade-in is so quick you'd barely ever notice it. By the time the door opens wide enough to see the sills the fade-in time has only a fraction of a second left before it's lit on full. Definitely not worth the extra wiring headache imo.

special thanks to the diy in this thread
i noticed this morning that when i clicked my seatbelt into place there was a addition click/rattle immediately following coming from inside the bpillar
im pretty sure wasnt there before
ive confirmed this for both driver and passenger side
but before i take it all apart again tonight
does anyone no what this could be?
yesterday I took them apart and i wasnt paying much attention when my buddy put it back together
possibly the belt isnt alined proper in the pillar?
thanks guys
