What is the difference between these tails and the ones that come stock from the factory? Can't seem to notice any difference.

I've never noticed but this is listed as an "upgrade."

 

These OEM were listed for sale as an "upgrade" to all the 2IS owners who wanted IS-F tails. For an F owner, naturally, it's not an upgrade, just a replacement.

I believe our taillights are led only in the inner taillights, but I may be wrong. Im guessing this taillight upgrades the outside taillights to led. Best bet is to call sewell lexus and ask, keep us posted.

 

These are 100% OEM IS-F taillights guys. The taillight assemblies contain both LED lights and traditional filament bulbs (for the turn signals and backup lights). The actual brake lights are LED's, just not the individual rounded style of LED's you're accustomed to seeing on BMW 3 series, and Infiniti models. They were just marketed as an "upgrade" to the IS250/IS350 market. If you read the description they even say so:
