BUT, I am not sure if our oem Tip material is capable of turning that color.
Only certain metals will get that look at certain super heated temperatures.
Our oem tips are not removable from the tip diffuser either.. They are spot welded on..
We are working on some sort of Sleeve style Tips, that will actually slide over the OEM ones for a more distinct look..

They also garrentee that you won't know the difference between these and actual titanium tips. I actually have seen what they can do to stainless tips, before and after and I could not tell.

Joe, I know a place that can gets you OEM tips to look like they were titanium. They won't say how they do it (they did say that they have to be baked though), but I have been quoted by them to about the same price a the lems tips for a new set or half the price if they were to do the process on the tips already on your car (you will just be without the tips for a week or so.)

I realize the "Burnt Tip" look is a process that is normally found on true Titanium material tips.
Manily because they burn the tip at different temps to achieve the different color areas.
Anything they do to the OEM tips, involves some sort of translucent clear coating process that allows you to still see the stainless steel under the "Blue" or "Smoke" finish..
I believe they bake it to make sure is nice and cured..
