Just to be sure, I checked one of the detail items on your particular car. You do not have 89990-53015, Computer Assy, Wireless Key in the parts list for your car. My resource also says "Not Applicable" to the credit card key. My car is 07/2008 production and also says "Not Applicable" for the credit card key, but it does show 89990-53015, Computer Assy, Wireless Key in the parts list. In the past, this missing ECU has been the reason the credit card keys have not worked with the earliest production VIN cars. So, it's pretty unlikely you'll be able to make this work.
MAYBE, you could buy this ECU, plug it in, and get it logically added to the Certification ECU and make this work, but that's anybody's guess about whether or not it will be successful. It might just as easily create more problems than it solves. The only way to find out is to try it. I would not even attempt this unless I had a legal copy of Techstream (I do, but I'm in Georgia), and the parts I got came from another '08 so they would be most likely to work if anything will. Getting a later model ECU would very likely be a greater crap shoot given all the issues we have seen with certain key part numbers working with specific model years and not others. So, it would be a labor of love and might end up being a total waste of time.
