Default Brake Squeaking Noise

Fellow ISF Owners,

I am not very car savvy, so please bear with me as I try to explain.

So I took my car in this past Saturday for my 15k service and I am STILL complaining to my dealer about the brake squeaking noise and they said that they will look into it (always giving me the same excuse that it's a high performance brake so it always squeaks, I just have to push it very HARD). So anyways, I got a loaner (RX350) and I'm off running my errands until I suddenly get a call from my service advisor about the brake problem. He basically said that something is wrong with my calipers and he will go and send it back to Brembo for some evaluation, in the meantime, I can just keep driving the loaner until I further notice. He said the evaluation will take up to a week. I will keep everyone updated if they are interested. My question now is, has anyone encountered the same problem? Or is it just me? Thanks for reading!

well the squeaking will be there as i think its normal but if ur hearing loud excessive squeaks thats why they are examining it. it only squeaks when i brake lightly with the stock pads. since i got the hawks no problem at all with squeaks and helps with the brake dust as well. i heard that hawks are making a revised one due to fitting issue.

Performance pads will squeak and dust, no getting around it.

But if something is wrong with the calipers than it could be a dragging piston or something similar.

brake noise is the norm for me....tends to come out more when cruising slow for a long period of time.

Mine don't squeak - they'll groan at near stop speeds as I release them or if I drag them at a crawl. Most often pads will make noise when there isn't enough pad material on the disc, so re-bedding them helps.
