I hooked mine upto the center dome light in the front. I didnt hack into the actual Lexus wires but i hooked up to the end of wires to the peanut bulbs up there.
that way it works when the dome lights are on and turned off when its off.

 

i hooked mine into the fogs so when they are on the leds are too! i like it that way!

 

I really want to have them on all the time.. but there are tooo much cop problems in socal for having the LED on all the time...
I alrdy have couple of illegal mods on my car so... i try to stay away from being cop magnet.

Is there anyway you can elaborate on that? i also wanna hotwire my Puddle lights in my mirrors to go on when my dome light is on, did you take out the dome light console, run a wire in there somehow to hook it up with the dome button, and then hide the wire thru the head liner and the side liner down to the leds?

i'd appreciate it if you coudl please do this, i'm not very electrical savvy thanks

thats sick having them hooked up to the fogs, i'd love to do that too but for the same reasons as n0th1ng, cops in Socal arn't that laid back =\
