Crap! Thanks for the heads up Joe and F bros. My wife was like, "what benefit is there for you to be posting pics of your car?!" Well, good thing I did!

But I got some bad news.

So far I can tell your front wheels are mounted backwards due to the blade direction.

I really can't see the blade direction on the rears.

Each wheel has a specific location: FR, FL, RR, RL

On the inside blade (1 of them) of Each Rim, it will be embosed accordingly.

Hopefully your Hankook tires are not directional or you going to need to dis-mount, re-mount & re-balance.

Regards,

As promised, full pics of my blacked out F. Wheels are dirty in this pic, but when washed, they sparkle and look good with the blacked out roof, etc. Let me know what you guys think.....

We decided not to paint the front grille mesh so that the Lexus emblem would stand out (more depth).

At first I was going to expect it looking bad but the black roof looks pretty unique the more I see it. Another member has it done on silver and I guess it just grows on you. If it was me though I would have opted for a black vinyl wrapped hood instead of paint as it's too permanent

Black or gun-metal wheels are really both nice - personally I like the gun-metal because anytime you paint the wheels black you lose the detail of the wheel spokes unless it's in perfect lighting. Again just personal preference - where in CA are you?

Your car and mine looks almost identical besides the roof and wheels.

Thanks for the positive feedback! Just returned from a 2 1/2 day overseas excursion and the time clock in my stock noggin is discombobulated. I need a shot of nitrous but I'm happy to get back to my F....amily & dog. I don't like going places without access to my F anymore.

s4play, I'm in the southbay! You callin me ORCA? I know what you mean. I'm usually particular about the idea of keeping the stock luster of factory hot rods, especially this one. Once you do this mod, there is no turning back. Right up until I did it, I was like, "what the F am I doing to my F?" Body shop guys were going, "Dude, its gonna look tiiighhht!" and my buddy's white E92, while at the same shop, made me wish there was a CF roof option for our cars too. (Please...No wannabe M3 bashing). I will refuse to give credit to BMW. It was actually the Panda Scion that inspired me.

Ok, now I think it looks good. Nice pics! In some ways it does look Scion-esque, but I'm still a fan.

Complete the panda look with some CF parts.
