My wife is also Korean but she doesnt work. Did you learn "Sarong Hey" or "Pogo Shey Pah" first? Back to the thread though, I would be down for headers, if no warranty issues, and 30 rwhp for under $2,000. But I definately wouldnt want to be the first guinea pig with them.

Can someone get a quote on how much it would be to change the headers. I think we can keep it at or under the 2k mark but the installation is what is going to be expensive.

I agree, I would bet the engine would probably need to be dropped to get them on, its very tight in there. Lots of labor there just to do that.

From what I gathered the engine and trans need to be dropped.

Can't just support the engine with a bar and drop the front subframe? Still a PITA, but definitely not an engine pull. I did this on my Supra to replace the upper oil pan after it developed a leak.

Any idea on how much it would cost to install?

Quote: Hey Janoy,

Good to hear you guys are looking into these.. We passed it up a few months back..

One of the major obstacles is going to be running the headers without the primary CATs in place...

This will cause a Check Engine Light for sure as the readings are going to be off the charts, without them in place.

However, a set with some High Flow CATs might work.

I have not seen one working O2 Simulator for any 2005+ Lexus..

The OEM manifolds are wedged in there like no other!!

Regards,
Joe Z
Not to be a BUZZ KILL JoeZ, But I have yet to see a aftermarket cat on a Toyota not cause a Cat Below Efficiency code to pop up on these cars. We have tried Walker Cats, Bozal's, and Imco, NONE have lasted more than a week without a CEL light.

Korean women are where its at. My gf (eventually wife) is korean. I'm the guy whos working with JE. They plan to sell the header for 1200. If you have any questions please ask. By the way the header is sick and made by Sikky (a drift performance manufactor who specalizes in imports but has done work on ls1's and other v8s).

by the way JE is a great shop on the east coast. The owner James has had many cars in many mags and is a professional drifter. They have worked on two of my other cars besides the F in the past 87 turbo supra and 95 sc 300 with 2jzgte swap. They do great work and have a great reputation especially in the drifting world on the east coast.

I have been following this thread on LexusF.com... Patiently waiting the final outcome on this product to see if it delivers.

$1200 is perfect! At that price I prefer to but it from them and retail it in Miami.

I have gotten prices from $1000 to $1500 for the install.

Does this sound about right with everyone?
