My point exactly the M3 has quite a few companies with pulleys available ie: active autowerke and evosport to mention a couple.

Pulleys do not increase horsepower. They can't. The only way they save power is by underdriving the accessories. All the light crank pulleys do is reduce rotational inertia which an inertial dyno reads as more power when in fact, it isn't.

^^^^^That is EXACTLEY what I was thinking when I read the title!! Aftermarket pullies have NO dampening characteristics=future engine problems. A few people have already posted similar answers...

This thread has been dead for a month I guess I am bringing it back to life, So are we all saying that the Pulleys should be left alone on the F? Or should someone develop a crank pulley. Any possible gains if any with this mod? Any idea how many more HP can be squeezed out. This reminds me of the ecu tuning debacle by MHP.

Fluidamper, ATI, and others make fine torsional vibration abatement pulleys. They're not going to save a lot of weight (if any) over stock.

+1....Not worth upsetting the engine harmonics.
Typically the hp freed up is minimal anyway.

Just guessing More or less how many RWHP would we be able to squeeze out?

The Answer is ZERO...

This type of modification is just NOT worth the potential disaster, with the newer technology found in our F engines..
