Installation Thread: PTS Exhaust -Joe Z series for the IS-F w/pics
#46
Great Question...
Answer:
NO rattling what so ever since those flanges are actually touching each other and securely braced together in that position...
Using the 2.5 piping gives very little clearance in some locations.
We decided to eliminate that possibility, by designing it so that there would never be any rattles in any of the tight areas.
Again Great Question...

.. I forgot to mention it earlier in this thread...
We still have the initial Group Buy running with Carson Toyota / Lexus Parts here:
**GB** PTS Full True Dual Exhaust–Joe Z series for the 08+ IS-F **
I will be honest that right now we are not sure how much longer the GB will be running at the intro price.
But I can tell you that you will be getting your monies worth and then some with this system.. Even at MSRP...
So be sure if you recently got an order in, that you are getting the GB price!!!
Thank You

No drone at all in the interior during normal driving conditions and throttle input.
Especially when your crusing on the Freeway.
We wanted to make sure you can still have a normal conversation in the IS-F when driving at various consistent speeds with our exhaust.
Lots of time was spent making sure the components deliver a Luxury & Performance sound simultaneously.
After all it's a Lexus and not an American Muscle car..
I am sure the IS-F's that have been running the Exhaust this week, will also be able to chime in with some more real world feedback.
Thank You

Yes it is a Lexus, but it's also the most aggressive production car Lexus has produced and the exhaust should represent this. The OEM exhaust is almost inaudible, and at WOT gets droned out by the dual-intake.
