My company has a helicopter which runs on 100 octane, but the aviation fuel is labeled as "low lead". I don't think that's the same as unleaded, I wouldn't put it in my car.
The price is usually about 2 bucks higher than 93 at the station, but I haven't checked since gas prices went down.
LOL.. this is very true... you never want to put aviation fuel in anything but a aircraft.. its the only industry thats still allowed to use leaded fuel
i've averaged as high as 22 by driving like a grandma (which is EXTREMELY HARD), and averaged as low as 12...
But many people tell me "if you own a car like that, you shouldn't be worrying about gas". Well, when you fill up 7-10 times a month, and it costs 60 bucks each time (when gas was 4.00+), yeah it matters....

Yeah, that's what people say, but an enthusiast still wants to know.
I just filled my Porsche Boxster S with Chevron premium today for $1.99/gallon, that's cheap here. Averaged about 18mpg on that tank, around town and on mountain roads locally.
