I've had my rear F-Sport bar since February '09, and yes, I did feel a difference after in install. A little rougher ride, but flatter cornering

Default Zex Nitrous

After giving up my dreams of super/turbo charging I went with the Zex NItrous V8 Wet Kit. Installing it took quite a bit longer than the suggested 2 hours. The results were pretty awesome though..4th run on the dyno hit 427.42 Max Power and 437.34 Max Torque We ran 1 run with 175 shot cuz I just had to pass 500..

My Mods are:
PTS True Dual Exhaust
Joe-Z Intake
Wedsport SA-55M
Zex Nitrous V8 EFI Wet Kit

LEXUSWTF,
How do you like your Ventross CF lip? I am considering going with that one or possibly the I-code or Lexon CF lips. I prefer the look of the ventross, but have hear variable comments regarding poor fit, etc... I'm also concerned that it would scrape dips/driveways more than the other two I mentioned..... what's been your experience... ?

STAMAN,
That setup is freaking AWESOME! How much did this cost and how difficult is install? (I would not be doing install, but would have it done at a proffesional tuning shop that specializes in turbo/SC installs...

The V8 EFI wet kit I ordered right from zex and it was about 650.00 bucks. That's just the start though. Your gonna need about 100 bucks in fittings, about 80 bucks to fill your bottle, and then you need to get it installed which takes about 3-4 hours if your mechanic knows what he's doing. Thats gonna run you about 300 bucks as well. I can save you a LOT of time and trouble now that ive been through it. Mr Slay is also a really cool/knowledgable guy when it comes to NOS--hes helped me a bit. Once you have the kit installed you need to dyno tune it to make sure you have the right nos to fuel mix which is adjusted by using different jets... Thats another 300-400 bucks. I decided to go with the colder range spark plugs because i knew id want to go higher than 75 shot. The NGK plat/iridium plugs were shockingly expensive. The set of 8 cost me over 200 bucks. Not to mention the 1.5 hours it takes to swap them out... Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions...

Forgot to mention, if you order a NOS kit you practically have to have the bottle warmer. Its an essential piece of the system. You always want around 1000psi when your spraying nos so your fuel/NOS mix is consistent. Thats another 200 bucks..

When you spray, do you have a purge like some some of the cars I see at the strip? How many sprays/bottle refill? Sorry for the questions - I'm a NOS Noob.

VERY INTERESTING!!! I really don't know ANYTHING about NOS.....this was a good "primer" I have heard NOS is "hard" on engines... is this accurate?

Nitrous is very stressful, but reliable when used correctly. You really need to make sure the system is properly setup and that you are using adequate fuel.

So you're running rich when not spraying to avoid detonation with the NOS?

Using high octane fuel and a slightly rich fuel mix will help inhibit detonation. When your not spraying NOS your fuel mix would be normal like the car always runs. Using colder range spark plugs helps as well. If your using 100 shot nitrous or higher engine timing is typically retarded 2 degrees but its not a simple process with the F. The mechanic that did my install had a "HP Tuning" harness which he connected to my OBDII port. With the software, apart from seeing all the usual dials, it apparently has a meter that shows detonation. Im not sure i believe it but mine was at zero the whole time.
