I really need help on this one. I'm trying to remove my front grille and I'm stuck. I basically followed the regular 2IS DIY instructions on this forum click here , and everything pretty much matched up (Except we have an extra plastic cover). I got to the last part where you are supposed to pull the grille towards you to come out. But I can't pull it out. If you look at the DIY link, #3, it looks like our grille has 5 plastic tab/hooks instead of 4, and they are rectangular, not triangular. I unhooked those from behind, but the grille is still stuck. I tried wiggling, maneuvering, forcing... still won't come out. I don't want to break anything so I stopped.

For those who have swapped to the black chrome or removed the grille for whatever reason, any help is much appreciated!

 

Anyone? I might have to do a 1-day subscription for toyota techinfo online. Does anyone know if they have proper information on removing body panels?
