Aluminum hood
With the chatter about carbon fiber hoods, it came up that the ISF hood may be aluminum. I checked it today, and it is for sure an aluminum hood.
That being the case, I can't imagine any actual reason to swap it for a CF hood. The weight savings would likely be nil, especially for a wet-layup CF part.
