There's no shortage of push in the stock IS-F. I found that out at the Lexus Driving Academy on the half day session. You'd never know if you only attended the free sessions. They never let you go fast enough.

Does anyone know if the F-Sport wheels are lighter than the IS-F wheels.

Hm...I remember reading that the F-Sport wheels weighed around 19lbs for the 19" rims...while the IS-F wheels weighed 23lbs...so yeah...they are lighter...

Sweet i guess the Lighter wheels and the stabilizer bar will make up for that 1 second the ISF was behind the M3 in the car and driver comparison.

I don't think the F-Sport wheels will fit on the IS F. Check it carefully before you buy them. The F-Sport wheels were designed for the IS350 and the brake calipers are different sized between the IS F and IS350. The stock IS F wheels won't fit on an IS350 either.

hm...I do know that the F-Sport wheels can fit big brake kits...well the f-sport ones...so maybe they can fit the is-f bbks?

The F-Sport brake kit is not the same as the stock IS F brakes. Anyway, I was talking to someone at the JDM show who told me he tried to put the stock IS F wheels on the IS350 and they didn't fit. So it's second hand info but I have no reason to doubt him.

heh if your talking about Joe Z...then yeah...cuz he used my car to test fit the is-f wheels to his is350...but I was just saying that the f-sport wheels could fit the is-f brake system, f-sport brake system, and the stock IS350 stock brake system.

I don't doubt the ability of the bar to improve handling but why would Lexus release the IS-F with the bar it has if they had another bar that performed better?

My only guess is that I don't have trouble inducing oversteer when I ask for it and though the initial understeer may be reduced with the F-Sport bar it would make the throttle-on oversteer worse. So for the street the F-Sport bar may be better but if pushing hard the stock bar may be better.

I have not run across any pics of a F-Sport sway bar installed but this is what it looks like.

FYI, Sewell is still running the F-Sport promotion. The price after putting in the discount code "F-Sport" is $177.19

Are the F-Sport Bilsteins Shocks already installed on the F from the factory??

Online specs call out a monotube gas-filled shocks absorbers only-no brand like the Brembos?

Thanks!

No. The F-Sport/Bilstein shocks are Lexus USA accessory parts. They are designed for the US Spec ISx50. Toyota/Lexus vehicles manufactured in Japan are usually sourced from Tokico or KYB for OE applications.
