So let's just put this to a vote. I'm torn between Obsidian and Starfire Pearl.

in the long run, assuming you are keeping this babe for good, i would say go with the starfire pearl. after all, i think Lexus is the best when it comes to its "white" color. and it's easier to manage , unlike black, it demands more of your attention when it comes to cleaning it

First, I think the "F" color is the blue and since you cannot get white leather on any other car but the IS-F, that is IMO, THE "F" combo.

I flip flop between blue, white and the black. I like my blue with white, white with black and black with white interior.
WHite/black is all me and white/white interior is very, WOW to me, something I would consider but just wow, very clean.

I have now seen every IS-F color IRL (but not combination, of course... white is still rare). My choices would be Ultrasonic Blue followed by Starfire Pearl. I'd like to have high-contrast in homage to the C43, but I think the Starfire probably looks better in the black interior.

This is my favorite IS-F color combo to date. Starfire w/Alpine White. Photo was taken at the Lexus Performance Experience back in August 07 at Laguna Seca.



If I were to buy one, Starfire w/Black interior would be the most practical choice.

black looks good when its clean which is only .1% of the time. I think white shows a lot more details on the car while black masks it. White interior looks nice, but I doubt it will look nice after using it for a few years, thats why I went with black interior

for me, i think if you are looking for a "really good color combo", then white is the one to go.

compared to black, it's easier to manage
compared to silver, it's not as plain, for me, silver somehow seems to be the color that doesn't really matter whether you wish it twice a week or twice a year. heheh

compared to blue, it has better resale value. blue is a screaming color. but not sure how long it will last before you get tired of it.

but my second choice goes to metador red. personally, i think it's a fantastic color. lexus makes the best metador red in the industry.


but, to stay in the "middle" way, as ancient chinese and japanese like to put it, white is the color that will last you a long time and makes sense in almost all aspects

I agree, I saw the red and it was a standout. Wouldn't be my first choice, but if you wanted something unique, this is the color.

I love my black, it's the best vibrant color when clean and the worst to show imperfections when dirty. Make sure you have a lot of time on your hands if you want to keep it looking it's best.

Personally I was leaning towards the SGM with black interior. I like it, do you guys feel that combo is understated?? I think overall the car will have that exec. feel and easier to maintain .

I really like the SGM and have an SGM GS350, but when choosing my ISF I went with a color that had some contrast with the wheel color.. So for me it was white or Mercury Metallic (I chose the latter with black interior).. IMO the SGM and wheel color on the ISF is just too similar..Even Obsidian looks better bcuz the wheels stand out a little.
