I don't think that there are many reported IS-F 1/4 times on the net yet. I can only think of a handful but somebody did a 12.7@113 I beleive and his 60' was 2.0 so it's not the easiest car to launch as I always have said and his was stock too.

I can't believe nobody here has taken it to the track! Lexus owners are finicky I guess. 2.0sec 60' time is pretty bad and I imagine that to be a problem with that car. Can anyone beat a 12.7 here with that car?

My speed is in my signature. I know I could have done better, that was automatic transmission selected, with sport mode enabled.

Dont count on this one to happen. Its impossible to date to crack these ECU's. They have tried for a few years since the release of the ISx50 and NO one has been able to crack the code. Toyota wasnt messing around!

What I have been told by the dealer is to use the paddle shifters in the ISF and you will produce better times. The IS350 is best to leave it in D and not touch anything strange how different they really are!

I'm going to agree w/ you on this one. The car, in sport mode, definitely feels faster using the paddle shifters.

It just so happened that on the instance that I did the 12.93 I wasn't using them, and it's hard to find a place to do 1/4 mile runs, if you know what I mean

We should plan another mini-meet, like the Hooters one. That really was a lot of fun. Maybe somewhere that has a 1/2 mile, non-patrolled, parking lot.. j/k?

Anytime Hopefully the weathers gets nicer....We can always plan a mini group and go to the Route 66 speedway and do some passes? I havent been in a long time but when the weather permits good place to not get in trouble and rep the "Chicago" boys

Lexus owners are finicky? Hmmm. Who was it that was trying to decide between the IS F and M3? Oh, they ended up with a 335.

2.0 60' is not a bad 60ft for a RWD car with street tires..

12.83 quarter...Only sub 2 second 60' time for an ISF I've heard of has been on aftermarket rims and beefier tires. I think when it cools down you'll see 12.6-12.7 times more regularly. The stiff suspension is not condusive to good launches at a drag strip. And the tires are so low profile with no meat. Funny thing is that it still beats most the cars at the strip, in my experience.

My buddy's M3 is the same way. More built for the circuit, not the drag strip. But still a ton of fun whatever you're doing.

The latest Motor Trend lists 12.75 when they added the IS F to their long term fleet.
