I believe when the performance mods come out the ISF should outperform the C63 but like everything the Mercedes will have mods available. Anyway most people will keep there cars stock.

Talking comparison

Hello everyone , I'm new to this board . Having just read the comparison of the four cars , the only weird thing about it was that they couldn't get the bmw m3 to break 12's in the 1/4 mile . Car and driver recently compared the IS-F and the M3 side by side and they came up with a 12.6 second 1/4 mile for the bimmer and actually got only 12.8 second 1/4mile for the lexus .
However I did recently test drove the IS-F and felt it to be the best IS period ! I liked the V8 engine very much and the handling was excellent .The only dissappointment for me was the dash quality , which I hoped would be of the quality compared to say the new cadillac CTS . Other than that I am considering the IS-F as one of few cars once my lease is up on my 2005 chrysler 300c Hemi . I think lexus has finally got a car that compares with the german machines and in time I'm sure they will hone this baby to finally beat these guys once and for all .
cheers

i agree for the very first isf lexus did a good job with it. on par with the german has to offer will the next gen or two be the new benchmark? only time will tell but if history were to repeat itself like in 1989 then the answer will be yes but who know

If you build these cars with the same options we all know the IS-F is the best buy. The base model IS-F come almost fully loaded (The ONLY way it comes).
